LOCKED TO
nullorvoid
[Nowi's adapted to Johto far better than most people would have expected. Sure, she's a human now and most of the time that's kind of sad, but she doesn't let it get her down for too long. After all, there's tons of new things to see and do, so she's been kept busy. When she's not looking after vacationers' Pokémon, she's exploring every inch of the town and maybe the routes, though she never strays too far.
After all, she's got a traveling companion to look out for. Speaking of traveling companions...
It's close to midnight and as usual, Nowi's not tired at all. This is probably because she slept in until one in the afternoon today (and boy has she been loving getting to sleep in), but she's getting bored. Her Pokémon are all tired out from playing all day, which leaves her with only one option: locate Ginti.
She knows where he should be, of course. He's like most people and has an actual job that doesn't involve playing with Pokémon all day. So Nowi makes her way to the hotel, Dratini draped around her neck like a scarf. She's wearing a halter top in an eye-searing green color and pink shorts, but thankfully her outfit is much saner than the thing she showed up in. She does have the cape and the massive belts on though.
Nowi pushes the doors in and immediately walks up to the front desk. She knows better than to shout, thankfully, otherwise she would have greeted her best friend that way.]
How much longer are you stuck here, huh? I'm really bored, Ginti...!
[...she's whining before she even checks that he's behind the desk, so hopefully she didn't just waltz right on up to some poor NPC.]

[She keeps some of it with her, usually whatever she earns from trainers in the area. It's best to start small, right? Unfortunately she's really bad at hanging onto her money.]

[Other than neon clothing.]

[...At least she can't make too much money battling kids??]

...It could be worse, I guess.

[Nowi pouts. She needs a giant whale, Ginti!!!!]

[WE DON'T NEED TO BE DRAGGING THAT THING ON THE ROUTES.]

[...she's pretty sure she's not going to win this.]

[You tried.]

[Nowi pouts, but she decides not to pursue it. Ginti definitely knows better than she does when it comes to money.]
But hey, if someone's selling dragon Pokémon eggs can I buy one? I really wanna get all the dragons! I've only got Dratini, but there's a bunch of others! I've got that book back in the room - it shows all of the dragons! I don't know where to get them, but people sell eggs a lot, so one of them has to have these other dragons!

But if someone's selling them, yeah, go ahead.

[SHE'S GONNA GET ALL THE DRAGONS, GINTI]

...At least you don't get bored easily.

I see what you mean about most people not thinking like that - most of the humans here throw a fit at the idea of being here for five.

[Her enthusiasm dies down a little after a moment though.]
...But I guess I can see why people want to go home. I mean, I miss my friends and all. So being here for a long time without 'em isn't something most people have to deal with. Or want to deal with.

[He shrugs, though.]
I don't know, this place is...okay. Weird, yeah. But it's not too bad once you're used to it, so I don't care if I stay for a while, you know?

[Sorry, couldn't resist.]

[...you tried it, Nowi.]

If that's what I'm supposed to do here, I'm going to do it and it's not a big deal.
