He made an absolute spectacle out of himself on the first day, setting the tone for plenty of others by yelling a lot about how none of them can trust each other and this is a competition, so getting along with anyone is pointless. He pointed a few fingers at people who actually tried to reach out to him, saying that they could easily be working for that mastermind guy, which got him a lot of grief.
So the second day, he decided against talking to anyone at all; he simply ignored the fact that he couldn't sleep at all and tried to look around for anything useful all day. And, well, now it's the second night- or the third morning, depending on how you want to count it- and he hasn't found anything useful, but he has gotten some sweet rolls, a boxed lunch, and... a weird vibrating doll out of the vending machine.
And now he's sitting out in the hallway, staring down the kitchen door that's locked and munching on some of those rolls, because it's not like he's getting any sleep tonight either, and he's almost as hungry as he is lonely.
[Ryuunosuke's reaction to being kidnapped and put in a murder game probably shouldn't be to find the whole thing cool, but he's been bored with murder lately and this seems like the best way to change things up. He even managed to keep from yelling GREATEST COOL when the Mastermind introduced himself, so clearly this is going to be fun.
Unfortunately no one has killed yet and that's sort of disappointing. He's spent his time in here stealing knives whenever no one's looking and trying to talk to people, but he doesn't find anything interesting so far. It's late enough at night that he figures he can wander the building without being bothered and he was going to shove some more coins in that machine but...
Well, he's not alone.]
What are you doing up this late?
[It's not really late for Ryuunosuke, but most people don't run on serial killer sleep schedules.
He recognizes this guy, of course. He's probably going to be the first one to die. If there was a betting pool, Ryuunosuke's money would be on this one. If he doesn't kill anyone, he's absolutely going to be killed because he's paranoid and that's not good for anyone actually trying to play the game properly.]
[That looks like an invitation if he's ever seen one and since the kitchen is closed at this time for some stupid reason, that sounds good! He sits across from Silver and takes one of the rolls, biting into it as he nods a bit.]
Yeah. The room's so quiet it kinda gets to me.
[Which is true! He's just not mentioning that he always stays up this late anyway.]
Why'd you pick this spot though? There are chairs in the dining room, you know!
I told you already, I can't sleep. There's no point in trying.
[And there isn't much to do here in the first place, so... Sure. He'll stare at the kitchen for a few more hours. Maybe something will actually happen.]
[He's probably supposed to feel something about that. A normal person would feel something. Sadness, maybe? It takes him a moment to really react to it because he genuinely has no idea what to do.]
I'm sorry to hear that.
[It sounds like he's trying, but it still comes across as stunted. His expression still reads as confused and his voice isn't doing any better. But uh, an attempt was made?
...No seriously, no one tells him intense stuff like this. He's been doing a good job of being aggressively upbeat and no one's said anything important to him. So this is... really strange.]
[Silver looks up at Ryuunosuke; he's tired, but he can still tell that there's something kind of off about his reaction. Then again, he did just throw that out at a stranger, so maybe that's to be expected.
He doesn't look upset, though. That's... That's actually kind of nice. It feels more honest.]
What about you?
[Let's just move right along.]
Do you want to survive? Are you waiting to kill someone?
[Well it looks like he's not alone in the socially awkward corner, wow. Ryuunosuke tips his head a bit at the questions.]
Who wouldn't want to survive? As for killing someone... c'mon, do you really think a guy like me is capable of something like that?
[He smiles, eyes closed. He's totally capable of it, but there are a good amount of people here he wouldn't risk killing. Besides, he doesn't want the game to end yet. This could potentially be the most fun he's had in years.
But that question about survival hits him weird for some reason. Does he want to survive? The answer came easily because it's what he's supposed to say, but... Well, it's better not to think about it.]
[He doesn't trust a single person here to not be willing to kill someone. Ryuunosuke's no exception.]
I don't think you'll kill first, though. You don't look desperate enough.
[They still don't know what happens when someone is killed. If that's the easy way out, no strings attached, he's going to have to figure out how to kill someone too, isn't he?
