[It was supposed to be just an ordinary class outing to take care of a bandit problem.
Oh, sure, these class outings are usually dangerous; bandits aren't simply going to roll over and allow a bunch of students to kill them, but this is hardly the first time the Black Eagles have been tasked with such a thing. They head out and take care of the problem with no real issues. Sometimes some of them are injured, but Linhardt can always keep them healthy until they can be taken care of back at the monastery.
So Hubert wasn't really expecting anything different today. The woods they've engaged the bandits in are thick and make traversing through them difficult, however; that's most likely how they managed to get separated from the rest of their class. The sounds of a clash can still be heard distantly, but for now...
Well, for now, he and Linhardt are separated from the others. That isn't necessarily a problem; he likes Linhardt well enough, and while Linhardt doesn't like to fight, Hubert can certainly look out for both of them. The bigger problem is that Linhardt is their healer, which means Lady Edelgard is out there without a healer in case she ends up in a bad situation. Rejoining the rest of their class is the top priority.
(It has nothing to do with the fact that being alone with Linhardt is... not exactly ideal. They're friends, yes. He likes Linhardt, yet. The problem is that he likes Linhardt entirely too much and being alone with him sends Hubert's pulse skyrocketing and those thoughts become almost impossible to ignore. He cannot afford to split his focus like that in battle, not when something could happen to Lady Edelgard and he isn't even there to protect her right now—)
Needless to say, he's very antsy as he picks his way through the trees and bushes. He's on high-alert, as always. Most of the bandits are most likely fighting their fellow students, but they've had to fend off a few stragglers so far, so he certainly isn't about to let down his guard.]
We need to make it to the others quickly.
[This would be easier if the trees weren't so overgrown... How are you doing, Linhardt?]

He feels overwhelmed by feeling, pleasure clouding all of his senses, with moans and cries of enjoyment here and there falling freely from his lips the more he lets himself go.
His whole body starts shaking a little as he grows closer to orgasm. Movements more erratic, he starts fucking himself on Hubert harder, muscles tensing tighter and tighter until he can't take it anymore.
When he comes, the feeling washes over his mind, clearing all thoughts but those related to chasing that pleasure. Never before has release felt so wonderfully amazing. He wants to hold onto this feeling for as long as humanely possible.]

His pace begins to pick up and their movements become erratic; they aren't matching anywhere near as neatly now, but they're both so close, and as Linhardt tips over the edge, Hubert follows. He buries himself in Linhardt as he cums, head tipped back as a slightly louder moan leaves him. His hand stills against Linhardt and his other one rubs slow circles into where he's been gripping Linhardt's hip so hard as he slowly starts to come down off the rush of release.]

Amazing how that happens.]
That was... incredible.
[He hasn't lifted up yet and still has Hubert inside of him. The task of moving feels like too much just now.]
Feeling a bit sleepy now.

[Linhardt's second statement gets a soft laugh out of him. The hand at Linhardt's hip comes up, gliding gently over his back and up into his hair, running through the strands lightly.]
Mm. Even I'm feeling a bit tired now. We are going to have to get up at some point, you know.
[It's light, almost teasing. As much as he'd like to lay here, close to Linhardt with an excuse to hold him, the water is going cold and it's best to get moving.
...In a moment.]

[And when they get up, they'll probably part ways. The thought makes Linhardt's chest tighten a bit with displeasure. He'd rather fall asleep in bed with Hubert's arms around him, holding him close.
Why can't that happen?
Still, he doesn't dare ask. He'd promised that this didn't have to mean anything, and asking would only put Hubert in an uncomfortable position. Then Linhardt would look like he was purposefully trying to manipulate him.
So he just stays where he is, being difficult in his own way by refusing to be the first to move.]

Then he pauses and leans in, brushing a light kiss against Linhardt's cheek.]
If you'd like, I can escort you back to your room.
[It isn't something he should offer. He knows that. He's free for the rest of the night, but tomorrow morning he returns to his duties and he can't afford any distractions. But... one night wouldn't hurt, would it? Can't he pretend that this will work out for just one damn night?]
