Continued from here.

Six months had passed since Isaac and Kimblee had started dating. The date was important for both of them - for Isaac because he always put importance on such things, and for Kimblee because Isaac found it so important. That was why they were up at the Lake of Rage instead of spending another day in the house or in the Ice Path. They had dressed up (Kimblee more so than Isaac) and had met up at the lake just to spend time together.

That didn't last long. One thing led to another, and now here they were, Kimblee pressed up against him and Isaac flushed to all hell at this much contact. "We aren't staying here," Kimblee had said with a smirk and Isaac caught onto that very quickly.

"No, no we aren't." He returned that smirk with one of his own - this time it wasn't forced but rather a far more genuine and darkly pleased expression. Isaac glanced over toward the inn that was set up not too far away and gripped Kimblee's hand tightly. "Come on, then." Quite frankly he didn't care who saw them, and cared even less what they thought. The locals here didn't really have much to say anyway, and he doubted they'd care very much about two men sharing a room. Because that's all they were going to do, obviously.

...No but seriously, he was far too excited for this.

The room was easy enough to rent out and Isaac made sure they got a room that would actually be large enough. Neither of them were fond of cramped spaces, and the last thing he wanted was for Kimblee to have one of his moments now. Yes, it was selfish, but it wasn't like he was saying it out loud. He tugs on Kimblee's hand expectantly, leading the way down the hallway and opening the door to the room. It's indeed a rather large room with a king-sized bed - the entire place is nicely decorated and well-lit, though Isaac really couldn't care less about the decor or the lighting. His first order of business is to pull Kimblee into the room, lock the door, and return to kissing his boyfriend.

He hasn't been this excited in a long time.
