[He doesn't remember much about his execution.

Oh sure, he remembers the lead-up to it; he remembers how the others looked on as he was led away and sure, he remembers Ishimaru's screams. He doesn't remember the death cage nor does he remember the sudden pain before it was all over.

It made waking up here incredibly confusing.

"Here" must be some sort of afterlife, but Mondo hasn't been able to figure out what it is, exactly. It's obviously not heaven (he's killed two people, he doesn't belong in heaven), but it doesn't seem to be hell either. Things are monotonous, yes, but they're not bad.

That leaves the option of purgatory, which Mondo is more or less fine with. It's better than spending an eternity suffering. It's probably not right for him to stay here instead of moving on to hell, but he doesn't know how or when that will happen. He's content to leave it at that for the time being.

This place is a rather large city - half of it is full of native English speakers, whom Mondo tends to avoid (his English is atrocious, after all), the other half is full of Japanese speakers. The city itself doesn't seem to be anywhere Mondo has ever seen, but it's large and spread out, with plenty to explore and do. Mondo hasn't seen everything there is to see though; he's only been here for a few weeks, and he knew if he wanted to make ends meet, he'd need a job first. Exploring could wait.

It's convenient that there's a carpenter's shop just down the road from the apartment Mondo woke up in. It might not technically be his, but he's been staying there until he can afford to properly rent it out. No one has complained so far, so he figures it's fine for the time being. The carpenter works him to the bone and he's never been so exhausted in his life when he comes home, but it's a good kind of exhaustion that means he's doing something productive. He can't make up for what he's done in the past, but he can help out here.

He's off work for the day, lounging around in what serves as the living room of his apartment, flipping through the newspaper. The dates here are all screwed up - it's almost winter here and he knows he'll have to put some money away toward buying proper winter clothes. That's only a minor concern though, because he has much bigger things to worry about.

In a city this large, it's possible that he's just missed seeing the others. He hasn't been looking very hard, admittedly. He's not sure what to say to them when he does see them. "Sorry" simply won't cut it for Fujisaki. He doesn't really want to see Kuwata, Enoshima, or Maizono either. He's sure it's only a matter of time before one of them finds him, or before someone else shows up here.

All he can do is hope that it won't be Ishimaru.]

[Oh no, that hurts. Mondo moves to pull Ishida into a tight hug, running his fingers through his hair immediately. He knows what that means, and it's painful to acknowledge.

Ishida is Ishimaru, he's just gone crazy.]

It's alright. Take all the time you need to think about it. No matter what you decide, I'll honor it, okay? You mean so much to me.

[Ishida doesn't move or try to discourage Mondo from hugging him, though he's a little confused by what brought it on; the hair-playing feels good, though, as it always does, and it isn't long before he's returning that embrace.

Then Mondo's words hit and for a reason he can't really explain, he's elated to hear them; he doesn't let himself dwell on them for too long, he just grins and lets his grip tighten and he's nuzzling up against him and god, what a day to be alive.

He's still not sure what brought this on, blissfully unaware of the pain he's causing; he just knows that it feels nice and Mondo's being accepting.]

Great - that's...that's really fuckin' good to hear, kyoudai! You mean a lot to me, too!

[Mondo holds Ishida tightly, content to just play with his hair and stay like this for awhile.]

Glad to hear it.

[He pauses; something's been bugging him.]

Hey, why'd you ask what I wanted from uh... from this? Y'know, me liking you and all.

[It's not like Ishida actually wants a relationship with him, right?]

[...did you just]

What...?

[just let him pull back for a second because kyoudai

kyoudai are you stupid

okay look he's going to have to stare at you like you've grown a second head for a second before he just - ]

Why the fuck do you think?!

[Yes, yes he's stupid-- oh.

Well that explains a lot, doesn't it?

Holy shit. Mondo tightens his grip on Ishida and returns that kiss almost immediately. It's pretty clear just how pleased he is, if the soft noise he made was any indication.]

[That noise is amazing, and Ishida's quick to shift position, pressing up against Mondo while he kisses him and using that as leverage to push himself up off the couch a bit; this feels amazing and all he can think is how he wants more of it, and when he resettles it's with his legs straddling Mondo's, kneeling down over him without letting their bodies touch properly, and while he isn't deepening the kiss any he's very definitely enthusiastic about the whole thing, a sort of eagerness coursing through his body as he presses Mondo into the cushions covering the back of the couch.

Clearly, he doesn't care how much the couch supposedly sucks right now; this is amazing and he doesn't want to stop.]

[Mondo allows Ishida to push him back into the couch, still obviously pleased with what he's doing. His hands move to Ishida's hips, though he doesn't really seem to know what to do with them, just letting them kind of awkwardly press there. He is all too eager to return the kiss though, even if he's not really sure what he's doing there either. Oh well, the enthusiasm makes up for it, right?]

[Oh, that...

...well. That seems to please him, really, if that sound it got out of him's any indication, good lord.

Despite his confidence, he's still obviously inexperienced when it comes to this sort of thing, and after a while he needs to break away, to catch his breath a bit; he's shaking a little, but it's definitely not a bad thing.]

Fuck. I...fuck. This is amazing.

You're fucking telling me!

[He gently touches Ishida's side, hoping to at least calm the shaking a bit. He knows Ishida's excited - why wouldn't he be? Mondo's excited too - but the shaking does worry him a bit.]

I can't believe you want to date me! I mean, that is what you want, right?

[That touch at his side just gets his eyes to close a bit, and he shifts a little, pressing into it; if you're trying to relax him, Mondo, it's...kind of not working, but he rather definitely appreciates that touch.]

Yeah, of course it is - I'd do anything for you, you fucking know that.

[Except, apparently, sit around and keep talking; shut up and make out with him some more, okay?]

[Well, that didn't work. At least Ishida isn't expecting an answer, because Mondo doesn't really know what to say. Of course he knows that Ishida would do anything for him. He still hadn't been expecting this.

He eagerly returns the kiss, pressing up into Ishida's touch. Needless to say, he's quite pleased with the making out.]

[Ishida takes that shifting beneath him as encouragement, letting his hands move a bit and settling them on Mondo's shoulders; it isn't long before his touch begins to slip downward, however, trailing over his chest in a slow, deliberate manner and sliding under the fabric of Mondo's jacket, tracing over his abdomen and just exploring a bit through his shirt.]

[Well that gets a pleased noise of out him. Mondo takes that as a sign to do the same with Ishida; he fumbles a bit with Ishida's shirt, not sure if he should go up under it or just keep his touches on the clothes. He finally settles for the latter, trailing a hand up Ishida's side and then down. He's perfectly content with what Ishida's doing, and makes a small, encouraging sound to let him know what.]

[The sound that gets out of him is both deeply pleased and more than a bit frustrated; he shifts again, lowering himself to press a bit more firmly against Mondo's body without flat-out sitting in his lap, and he finds Mondo's hand with one of his own, guiding it down and sliding Mondo's fingertips underneath the fabric of his shirt, the meaning clear.

Take the hint.]

[He gets the hint alright, sliding his fingers up Ishida's side. Mondo makes a pleased noise at the contact, moving his hand to explore Ishida's side thoroughly. He does wrap his free arm around Ishida's waist and pulls on him, trying to get Ishida to properly sit still, even if that does mean he'll be sitting on Mondo's lap.]

[Between the sudden massive amount of increased contact and the fact that Mondo's hand on his side feels amazing, Ishida finds himself breaking that kiss off; he can't maintain eye contact, his breathing jagged, but judging from the sound he made when he moved it's definitely not a bad thing.]

Don't...don't stop.

I-I won't. Fuck, I won't.

[He slips his other hand under Ishida's shirt as well, tracing up and down both sides, smiling. He leans up to kiss Ishida's jaw, trailing down a bit to what he can reach of Ishida's neck.]

[That just gets some really impatient squirming out of him, though he manages after a while to go back to what he was doing before - running his hands down Mondo's body, and his fingertips are shaking a bit now but it's not through a lack of confidence, and when he gets to the hem of Mondo's shirt he tugs it up a bit, kneading into the bare skin of his waist a bit.

He's tipped his head to the side a bit to give Mondo better access to his neck; he pushes up against him with his body, not quite grinding but coming very, very close.]

[The kneading at his waist earns a pleased noise from him, but the grinding - well, the not-grinding-but-really-close - earns a much louder moan. He leans up into Ishida's touch, mimicking that kneading motion at Ishida's sides. He moves back up to kiss Ishida again properly.]

[That motion against his sides does get grinding out of him, abrupt and shameless, and that kiss is quickly edging out of chaste territory as well; his body is becoming tight and incredibly tense, and he doesn't even bother to stifle the deep, soft noises this is getting out of him.

He has no idea how far this is going to go; he's not stopping it, either way.]

[It vaguely occurs to Mondo that they should stop before this goes too far - they haven't even been on a proper date yet, they're moving way too fast - but that thought vanishes the moment Ishida grinds against him. The sound he makes is loud and he would be completely embarrassed at it if he was in a position to really hear himself. Instead, he returns that grinding motion and allows Ishida to deepen the kiss. He's aware of how tense Ishida has become, but he couldn't stop this even if he tried. He's enjoying himself far too much.]

[That sound pleases him, sending a cold shock down his spine, and he finds himself wanting to see if he can get it out of Mondo again; any thoughts he may have had toward achieving that, however, go right out the window as soon as Mondo grinds up on him. He cries out a bit, the sound sharp and in stark contrast with the soft moans from before, and his hands tighten immediately, gripping Mondo's waist firmly before he seems to make himself relax, going back to that kneading motion he was doing before as he grinds up against him again.]

[Ishida isn't the only one getting chills; Mondo enjoys that sound and wants to hear it again. He grabs Ishida's hips though, finally realizing that he should ask how far they plan on going tonight.]

H-How... how far...?

[He sounds breathless and he can't quite put his thoughts into words, but he tries again anyway.]

How far do you... want this to go...?

[He lets out another of those odd frustrated noises when Mondo breaks that kiss off, but he's quick to close his eyes and try to force himself to settle when Mondo starts trying to talk to him; it's not working very well and those hands on his hips just have him tensing up again, but at the very least the question registers. His breathing is rough, his words more than a bit shaky, but he manages to form words eventually.]

D-Do you think...we should stop, or...?

I-I don't... I don't know...!

[He doesn't want to stop, but aren't they going too fast?]

We shouldn't... go all the way. Not yet.
