[...Silver does come in, actually, and he sees the bed and he just.
Sits on the floor.]
...You're really calm about all of it.
[Silver doesn't have it in him to be annoyed right now; maybe later, but right now he's scared, and upset. Sure, maybe Ryuunosuke didn't have a bunch of fingers pointing at him, but what about the body? What about the execution?]
Someone has to be. The rest of them are wound up and if something else happens there's got to be at least one person with a cool head, right?
[That's not a very good excuse. He knows it's not. It's worked on the few of them who tried to stop him from ditching, but it's still a terrible excuse. He really isn't cut out for a game like this, he can only get so far with what he can do. Maybe it would be smarter to get out now that he has some idea of what the game is like.]
[Huh, he wasn't expecting that to work again, but he's not about to complain!]
Like I said, someone had to. I'm not surprised they latched onto something like that and wouldn't let go, but have these guys never heard of framing? You couldn't have done it and I'm glad they weren't stupid enough to think you did.
[Because then this would have ended and that wouldn't be fun. He wants to see more murder!!]
Yeah, same here. They can be stupid when our lives aren't on the line.
[He's smiling, though the expression still doesn't reach his eyes.]
Thanks, though. That's nice to hear.
[It really is! He doubts it'll be useful for awhile, but who knows. Maybe he'll decide to kill someone and Silver will be able to convince them he didn't do it! That'd be pretty funny.]
That's something he should have some kind of reaction to, isn't it? He hesitates for a moment and he thinks he might kind of feel something, maybe? But it's gone before he can identify what it was. He settles easily enough.]
Yeah, sure. You wouldn't want to stay with any of them anyway, not after that disaster. You want me to help bring your blankets and stuff in here? I don't know if we can get the whole mattress, but we can at least make you as comfortable as possible!
(And who knows, maybe this will make sleeping a bit easier. There will be some sound in the room, at least.)
Ryuunosuke makes sure everything's cleaned up and Silver has enough room to spread the blankets out (while making sure to hide his notes carefully) and by the time Silver returns he'll be sitting on the bed. He's not ready to go to sleep yet, obviously, but he's waiting here anyway.]
[Silver returns not too shortly with a single pillow and a single blanket; he also has a bag of some of those horridly greasy potato chips that drop out of the vending machine sometimes, and tosses them at Ryuunosuke. That's payment.
Once that's done, he tosses his pillow on the ground, wraps himself in blanket, and just lays there; it doesn't look very comfortable, but his damn face says otherwise.]
...In the summer, you don't even need a blanket. Just find a nice sturdy branch and you're set.
[That said, he's totally bundling himself in them anyway, because they're nice and warm and cozy and holy shit Ryuunosuke, why do you have so many blankets.]
Huh, yeah, probably. I mean I'm sure we have stuff like that but I'm usually in the heart of the city. I don't really leave unless I'm moving to a different city.

And Silver's tempted to say as much, but... He doesn't, and instead he hugs his knees.]
I'm really glad you had a cool head.
[The words are quiet, but they're accompanied by a brief smile; he still looks miserable and exhausted, but you know what.
He's trying, and trying has got to count for something around here.]

[Just like that, his expression goes from warm to cold.]
And while I don't care what they do with themselves, I'd like to live.
[So maybe he's a little mad after all.]
I owe you one. I'll have your back sometime, okay?

[Silver please don't lead everyone into a bad end.
That said, he's quiet for a moment; he looks distinctly uncomfortable, but he eventually speaks up.]
Look, I know you just helped me out, but can I ask you for a favor?
[Man he does not look happy about asking for help.]

[This is already awkward. He might as well just get it out.]
Can I sleep in here for one night? I'll sleep on the floor, I don't care. ...I can't ask anyone else.
[He is so damn tired, and he knows this is a phenomenally stupid idea, but what else is he supposed to do?]

[Because hell no, he's not sharing the bed.]
no subject
He's going to sleep tonight.
The relief is written all over Silver's face, and he quickly shakes his head at Ryuunosuke's words.]
I can get it myself. I'm already imposing on you.
[In fact, he's going to get up so he can go do that; holy shit he's going to sleep tonight.]

No thanks necessary! But you're gonna need more blankets than that. That can't be comfortable.
[Give him a second, he's got one of the blankets at the end of the bed that he doesn't use. He'll toss it down for you!]
no subject
I usually just have one. It's comfortable enough.
no subject
[He still has a few blankets on his bed. He totally raided the storage room on the first day for extras.]
Hopefully you'll be comfortable enough down there.
