[The University is a familiar place, one that Dist actually likes, and the library is practically his second home. He's read through many of the books here when he's not actively assisting the Swords of the Savior or studying the newest recruits for their Enlightened talents. So far he hasn't found anyone who can compare with Jade's talents which frustrates him, but he hasn't given up hope just yet.

Today he's in the library, examining the books about Psychic- and Ghost-type illusion abilities. He doesn't have either of those types personally, but once he finds someone with the right capabilities, he needs to know how to teach them to utilize their powers for his own benefit. It's a daunting task, but it's the best he can come up with to bring Nebilim back.

Dist looks up when he hears footsteps and immediately his mouth falls open. Jade. What is he doing here? Dist opens and closes his mouth a few times, trying to find words to express his emotions (frustration, irritation, but mostly joy at seeing his friend again) but he can't seem to come up with anything other than...]

Jade!

[He gets quite a few irritated looks from the others in the library for his sudden shout, but Dist ignores them and approaches the other man. His expression is bordering on crazy, but that's not entirely unusual for him.]

I didn't think I'd be seeing you here, of all places!

[antiseptic]

[The sound of that particular voice makes Jade come to a dead stop, wondering how he had missed seeing Saphir - no, Dist when he had entered.]

[Rubbing at his temples, Jade lets out a quiet sigh, debating on the best course of action. He remains facing the bookshelf, resolutely looking away from Dist. Disengage immediately, his mind tells him, and he agrees. This encounter is likely to get loud, and he'd rather not have it take place in the dead silence of the library. Or take place at all, but that's far too late now.]

[When he turns Dist, he smiles, wide and obviously fake.]

I'm sorry, I'm afraid I just remembered I have urgent business elsewhere.

[And he pivots on his heel and walks away, heading straight for the door.]
