[Just because he holds that sentiment doesn't mean that others will. Or that circumstances aren't desperate enough for them to get going. All he has to go back to is finding his family, but who knows with anyone else?]
What do you think will happen when someone kills someone else?
I don't know. The rules aren't very clear on that and I'm sure there's a reason why. I'm not sure what will happen, but I guess we'll see at some point.
[He's glancing down and away so his bangs fall in his eyes. He's not bothered by this idea at all, of course. It's exciting and he can't wait until someone goes through with it. But he can't look like he's enjoying himself, so.]
[...Is he okay? Did he hit a sore spot or something? He was pretty relaxed before...]
It can't be as easy as killing someone, not getting caught, and walking away. There has to be a catch.
[Silver is tired and has no sense of boundaries, so he's leaning forward to try to get a better look at Ryuunosuke's face without really realizing it.]
[There is! Ryuunosuke follows and promptly grabs some paper and a pencil for himself. He doesn't usually draw but it's better than sitting in front of the kitchen all night. While Silver's working on Pokémon, Ryuunosuke will draw a cat and a dog. He's not the best artist in the world, but he's definitely not terrible!]
[Silver's strong suit is definitely not drawing; he's acceptable enough at getting general shapes down, but any details after that are kind of a joke.
He draws out his six partners- Sneasel, Feraligatr, Murkrow, Kingdra, Ursaring, and Gyarados- and there's a little stick figure drawn on each of them for scale. Most of them seem fairly sanely sized, and then there's the actual fish dragon that's gotta be something like sixty feet long.
He hands the pictures to Ryuunosuke, then takes a look at Ryuunosuke's drawings.]
This one looks like a Meowth. I don't know about the other one, though.
[He looks really interested in them but his eyes are still really dead.]
That one's a dog. It looks like you've got some stuff that's kinda similar? This one's definitely a bird, and this one's a bear. Um... Not sure what to classify the others as.
Well, they're pets. Companions. They don't really... do anything? A lot of people consider them really close, like family, especially if they've had a pet for a long time.
What do your uh... what are these things called again? What do they do?

Yeah. Someone's definitely going to at some point. Not everyone thinks like that.
[...That works, right??]

[Um.]
...What are you doing?
[Leeeaaaaning back um. This is. Kind of weird?? No one does this. Everyone lets him get away with the "I'm totally sad and looking away" thing.]
no subject
Sorry, I- you were fine, and then you were kind of sad. I wanted to see if you were okay.
[He shakes his head again; he's trying to shake off some of the exhaustion for sure. It's not exactly working, but it's something to do with himself.]
no subject
[Maybe he should have said he wasn't. Um. Did he heck up???? Just gonna roll with it and pretend he didn't!!]
Are you sure you're gonna be okay waiting here all night? There's that rule against sleeping outside of the rooms.
no subject
...I can't sleep alone. Even if I'm tired, I won't fall asleep.
[That was a little more honest than he'd like, but he can't take it back now.]
no subject
[...yes this is actually his first thought.]

[I mean sure he hugs Weavile like a stuffed animal, but who's counting.]

They're everywhere and everything. Only humans and some plants aren't Pokémon.
