I probably didn't get it exactly right. I wasn't really studying it all that closely. There was that and the weird UFO fight in the sky and the Servant-guys fighting Bluebeard...

...Yeah. Though I wasn't painting this because it was one of the last things I saw. I wanted to try something with darker colors so the city at night sounded like a good idea and it just sort of turned into this.

[He had zero plans for this, okay. He's actually kind of trying to be reassuring here? There's not really a point to it other than to try to keep Silver from being upset?? Look, he's trying.]

[He could probably go on and on about it but for some reason he doesn't want to. The longer he stares at the half-finished tentacle monster in the river, the more he realizes he wishes Bluebeard was here and that's... not sitting well with him for some reason.

So instead he shakes his head and ignores it, like he always does.]

Everyone's first work is really rough. Trust me, I was terrible when I started! I'm good with sculpture, not painting.
