honkai: star rail voicetesting

Hey all, you know exactly what this is: another voicetesting post! This time it's Honkai: Star Rail-flavored. Listed below are the characters I'd like to voicetest. I have prompts available for them in the comments below!

By default, I will be avoiding spoilers since it's pretty easy with most of these characters. If you want to get into backstory stuff, there likely will be spoilers, so please be aware of that. If you'd like to do spoilery threads, just let me know, and I'll mark spoilers appropriately in my comment headers.

The prompts I have are all murdergame themed, of course. Listen, murdergame settings just work really well for voicetesting for me, don't ask questions!! I am perfectly fine with other settings if none of these prompts speak to you or you'd like to do something different! I love crosscanon threads, OCs, and assumed CR so feel free to throw whatever at me!

INFORMATION:
i don't know what you expected tbh
BOOTHILL
A Galaxy Ranger devoted to upholding his own brand of justice. Boothill is a cyborg with the vast majority of his body replaced; something he pretty much always manages to avoid talking about. One thing he can't avoid is his built-in swear filter that forces him to use nicer language. Well, if you call things like "muddle-fudgers" and "well fork me" nicer language. Though he is generally more chaotic good, he's perfectly fine killing anyone who stands in the way of his revenge - look out, IPC.
SAMPO KOSKI
An exceptionally shady salesman who just can't seem to keep himself out of trouble for more than five minutes, Sampo is an absolute disaster of a person. He can and will sell anything he can get his hands on, with little care for any sort of respectable business practices. If it seems like he's up to something, it's because he is - Sampo's a man with a plan, but what that plan actually is will always be a bit difficult to pin down. Just like Sampo himself! He has a tendency to go missing just when you think you actually need his help... but he won't hesitate to ask for yours!
AVENTURINE
While he is a member of the IPC, Aventurine does things his own way. A born gambler, he greatly enjoys making bets and seeing how things turn out - and his luck has gotten him this far, so surely it won't run out any time soon. Though he may treat everyone as a friend, you'd better look out; you never know what Aventurine is truly thinking behind that smile, after all. He deeply desires his freedom and despite all the glitz and glam of his current profession... he still doesn't have it. Maybe someday things will change.

Meeting

[Alhaitham listens, observes more than he speaks. It isn't as though he has much to add, anyway. Nobody has found anything useful for escaping, although he mentally notes a few interesting details. He knew it wouldn't be simple to escape, however, to the lack of productivity in their introductory meeting is neither a surprise nor a concern.

He hadn't really intended to engage with Aventurine while entering the kitchen, but he's beckoned with a question that catches his interest enough to stop.]

That depends if you're looking for thoughts on the situation we're in or the people here.

[Oho, calling him out on the real question already, huh?]

A little of both, if you're so inclined. Our fellow captives are quite interesting, aren't they?

[It's said in a completely neutral tone, as if he's observing them rather than actually dealing with them personally. And to some extent, he is; Aventurine has a tendency to watch the others whenever they're all gathered, and he's been busy forming opinions on all of them - Alhaitham included.]

Some of them are. [And some of them are people wholly disinteresting to Alhaitham. Aventurine isn't one of them, and it's precisely because of his sharp observation. How could Alhaitham not recognize his own habit, after all? In a situation like this, that makes Aventurine as much a fruitful ally as it does a threat.

His gaze flickers in a once over and he folds his arms.]
We can at least discern that whoever is behind this has both the wealth and power to compromise multiple people without any concern about their extravagant setup being disrupted. As for their motive... we know too little to create an accurate profile, but I believe this is likely for entertainment rather than study.

[Ah, not even bothering to play dumb around him, huh? Aventurine can certainly appreciate that - and the words remind him of something Ratio would say. It settles him a bit, and Aventurine rests a hand on his hip as he nods.]

I'd imagine we'd be in a proper lab if this were for study, but perhaps our little overseer is doing things their way. Too soon to tell, really.

[Which is frustrating, but more or less expected of this situation.]

Have you tried talking to them yet?

[Aside from the initial meeting with the Benefactor, there's a phone in each of the rooms that connects only to the Benefactor's line. It's an old-fashioned phone, the kind that has a proper dial, but attempting to input any numbers doesn't work.]

[There are aspects that make Alhaithan's more sure it isn't research: the overwrought set-up, or the inherent difficulty of being able to repeat and recreate the situation in a timely manner.

And the direct contact with their overseer for anything other than an emergency. If it was research, it would be so embarrassingly badly set up it would shame even first-years at the Akademiya.]

No. Have you?

[Someone would have tried, of course. It never had to be him.]

I have, yes.

[No sense in lying about it - as of right now, it's better to keep his options open, so hiding information from the others would be truly foolish.]

He's been as infuriatingly vague as you'd expect, though. The most I was really able to get out of him was a cryptic "wait in see" with regards to how exactly all of this will work if someone does decide to play his little game.

[That's not really a lie; Aventurine really didn't get anything useful from him. But it isn't the full truth either. After all, a gambler keeps their cards to themselves.]

[Alhaitham hums. He didn'texpect confronting the Benefactor to be where they get the most important answers. But it is a path to be eliminated.

And he's curious.]
What was it you asked him?

Oh, just a few things.

[A dainty wave of his fingers may make it seem like that's all he's going to say, but after a moment of silence, Aventurine adds:]

I wanted to clarify some of the rules. The most I got is that he certainly seems convinced that someone will kill.

[Given the way this place is set up, he could just withhold food from them until someone kills and that would likely get someone to crack eventually. But Aventurine's guessing there's more to it than that.]

[Alhaitham is patient. Aventurine drags it out, and Alhaitham only continues to fix him with the same unwavering stare.

After a moment he leans back against the kitchen counter, folding his arms.]
Humans will generally prioritize their own survival when pushed.

[Though most people at the meeting had rejected the possibility--been offended by it, even. That's also normal when they haven't actually been pushed in any way.]

Do you believe we were chosen at random?
